Blog Reflection blog post #1

To begin I would to say that all everyone was well spoken group 3 presentation was very clear  and group one was very informative and knew what they were talking about with ways of communication also group 2 was interesting with how they combated and how 2 people did a detention or slide together and also how everyone worked together the most interesting thing about this project is how ironic it is it’s informing you but also showing you real life example as well for example when the 2nd group was explaining the different types of groups and group norms and also group 3 presentation was beautiful and long

their personalities all collided so beautifully I think every group have a unique vibe but overall group 2 was the most interesting in my opinion. This whole topic of social structures and ways of communicating is so important so I think it’s interesting that we do these things and never question really should look deeper into it . like with my slides were on  genrataion and how it’s hard for generations to communicate because of different understandings of respect. Anyways I really love  how everyone didn’t short any information it was very informative with my group, group 1 its was aesthetically put together the slides were very monotone and group 3 was very floria. In group 1 the topic of culture and race was a good ironic sense because everyone in the group wasn’t from the same culture and it displayed how different cultures can communicate together, the next was sex and gender most genders find it better to have same sex friendships because they find it better to communicate but opposite sex friendships can be the same but can be potentially different next was sexual orientation, in 2024 we have lots of sexual identity’s like homo sexual were someone likes the same sex, heterosexual where someone like the opposite sex and  bisexual where they like both this topic has been the main root of conversation for some reason, for some reason in 2024 who we love is how we should be treated which is ridiculous but anyways this can  steam from a another topic like religion where in the christian culture homosexuality is hated on, even though the religion makes it seems like they’ll love you dispite your preference but what was interesting was social economic  status the way someone can treat you based off your income and then group one talked about how cultures differ individualism and collectivism influences how people make group decisions.

The next thing I notice is that people also we learned that different cultures respect different things like how respect from different points of views like how they control events  and also culture differ in their attitudes towards things and that’s how they create systems next is power distance, power distance this talks about the extent of which members of a culture expect lastly masculinity and femininity this this energy can come in both genders the masculine energy is about how someone can hold the situation together and feminine energy is from support overall  I would like to say I was really shocked how well me and my classmates did this whole project was just a glimpse of what this class has to hold and  also happy with how nice and smart the professor is it was so beautiful to see all other students say how they were recommended from a friend.

A person's identity and self-esteem can be improved by belonging to a group because it frequently gives one a sense of purpose and affirmation. Groups help people learn and grow personally by allowing members to share information, expertise, and criticism. Support groups provide those with comparable challenges—such as addiction or health issues—with emotional, educational, and practical support. Support groups offer emotional, informational, and practical assistance to individuals facing similar challenges, such as health issues or addiction. Groups assist people build relationships and a feeling of community by giving them a sense of support and belonging respecting and taking into consideration the ways in which cultural differences influence relationships. Ethnocentrism, the idea that one's own culture is superior to others, must be avoided in order to achieve this. Overall this was really informative Overall this was really informative, Trying to comprehend and relate to the experiences and viewpoints of people from different cultures is one way to show empathy. This project once again was so eye opening oh my goodness finally I wanted to talk about group 3 and 2  I think one of the groups. These are intimate, tiny, and usually enduring organizations in which members have strong emotional ties to one another. Families and close friends are two examples.  These are bigger, more impersonal, goal-oriented, and frequently transient groupings. They are organized around particular tasks or goals. Coworkers, professional associations, and classroom groupings are a few examples my favorite group is support group These groups provide emotional and moral support to members facing common issues or challenges. Examples include therapy groups, addiction recovery groups, and patient support groups.
